Custom Made Hand Drawn Celebration Cakes
I began creating cakes for our three children when they were young, mainly because of not wanting to buy a cake that every other child had. I’ve never been taught how to decorate a cake, it’s been a great deal of practice - and many mistakes!
Several years ago I developed my “style” of decorating by hand drawing the decorations. Many of the cakes now are a ‘visual synopsis’ of the person it’s for - I try to capture the spirit of the person!
I do not do this as a business - but I do make for friends and family. I’ve never asked for payment, but as the cakes have become increasingly popular, the cost and demand has increased considerably. I decided to create this “about” page to show what’s possible and invite those that enjoy the cakes to consider contributing (donating an amount they choose) towards my “drawing and baking fund” by clicking the button below.

Time (bake + decorate) 50 hours
All decorations are edible
The cakes are usually chocolate with chocolate ganache filling
