Brief Answers to the Big Questions (Stephen Hawking) Visual Synopsis by Dani Saveker

£3.00

This is the 100th Visual Synopsis completed by Dani and she deliberately wanted to choose something special and a little different – and that would provide a challenge. It so happened that this wonderful book, the last from Professor Stephen Hawking, was released at almost the same time.

The book focuses on 10 of the biggest questions that Professor Hawking explored and takes the reader not on a journey to a definitive answer but to open their mind to curiosity and inquisitiveness. Rather than simply trying to ‘sum up’ each chapter and question, Dani wanted to capture the essence of this most brilliant mind. In her own words:

“The more I travelled through the pages with Professor Hawking, the more I connected to him and his passion for questioning and discovery. Of course there is a great deal of scientific content within the book, much of which flew over my head, but I was left with something far more valuable. There was a moment, just a short while into the second chapter, that I wondered if I’d chosen the right book and if I could do it justice given it’s importance but by following the inspiration of the author, I chose a way to overcome this and just take some key phrasing and points.”

This 100th Visual Synopsis was the challenge that Dani hoped for - she felt that it was just perfect and will take her nicely into her next hundred books and capturing their truly inspirational content. As Professor Hawking puts it: “look up at the stars and not at your feet”, onwards…
