Girl Wash Your Face (Rachel Hollis) Visual Synopsis by Dani Saveker
I love nothing more than being recommended, or gifted, a book. This one was very kindly gifted to me by a dear friend - and nutritionist - check her out
I hadn’t come across Rachel before although the name of the book, Girl Wash Your Face, sounded familiar - but that could be because my mum used to say it a lot!
I quickly understood that the book was focused on some very personal experiences and what, as a result, the author had learned or figured out. The result, for the visual synopsis, was to create almost a one page “advice” summary.
Nothing in the book jumped out as new or something you’d disagree with. It’s a pleasant read but ambles a little too much for me. I prefer books that challenge my thinking and take me on a powerful journey of discovery to ignite new ideas and concepts. It was a little bit “same old” and perhaps better suited to new mothers - but that is purely a personal view.
