It is an incredibly moving tribute to Joe Lyons, Roman’s best friend who lost his life to suicide in 2020. Dani now works with the charity created by Joe’s family in his memory and to make a difference to young people - Joe’s Buddy Line.
Dani is passionate about the mental wellbeing of young people and the issues associated with suicide as she lost a friend herself to suicide in 2021. In addition to this, Dani’s very good friends from university lost their oldest son the same way just a few years ago.
